Greetings:
What a beautiful autumn season we have had so far (here’s hoping it lasts a LOT longer)! J As the holiday season gets closer with every falling leaf, Spring Valley ACTS wanted to take a minute to thank this neighborly community in which we live for all of your involvement and generous support over this past year. THANK YOU!
As most of you know, SV ACTS is a non-profit organization dedicated to the betterment of the greater Spring Valley community. Profits from our activities and the generous donations from our members are used for many things right here at home. Here are just a few of the things SV ACTS has been doing for 30 years:
§ Promote family activities through concerts, holiday celebrations and children’s parties
§ Generate community appreciation through organizing the annual Potato Festival
§ Preserve local history through restoration of Ohio’s oldest Cement House and creation of the Spring Valley Museum at the George Barrett Cement House on the Village Main Street (If you haven’t seen the Cement House lately, you haven’t seen it at its best)
§ Provide beautification for the community by donating flowers and holiday decorations
§ Support team sports at Spring Valley’s park
§ Assist with the financial support of our Fire Department and Library
There are lots of good things happening throughout our neighborhoods. It’s a community-wide effort. SV ACTS wants to continue to do our part to make this township and village an Ohio oasis.
You’ve come to count on SV ACTS to do so many things that make ours a family-friendly community that we’re all proud of. And, once a year, we count on you for your membership dues and generous donations. We understand that there are many demands on your resources. But we ask that you please remember Spring Valley ACTS as you plan your holiday giving.
