We are your friendly small town library, operating for all in our community and thanks to the support of our community. If you’ve not visited us before, we are located at the corner of Walnut and Vine streets in beautiful Spring Valley. We are open 25 hours each week with additional hours added for Tater Tots and  Summer Reading programs.  We are no longer part of the Greene County Library system so must rely on various fund raising activities and donations to continue to operate.  But we still offer all the best sellers for our adult readers and continually update our children’s literature. (See a quarterly update of “What’s new at the library” in the Village Pump.)  We have videos, magazines, and Internet access.  We’re also the place to come if you need to send a Fax or make photocopies -- or just to find out about happenings in the community. We hope you will visit us often.
